Family Vacation...a.k.a. "Florida Daycare"

This past weekend, we went to the beach with my entire family. We've always stayed in Sandestin, but this year, we tried something new and got a house within a short walk to the beach. We loved it! Unfortunately, it rained most of the time we were there. So, we soaked up as much beach time as we could, read LOTS of books to the kiddos, played games, ate at The Donut Hole, shopped at the Outlet Mall, and had a fun evening out at The Village at Baytown Wharf. (where the adults played an intense game of hide and seek...a serious highlight of the trip!) I have SO much fun with this crew!! We laughed till it hurt, ate yummy food (we each had a night to cook for everyone), took LOTS of pictures, and just loved on all these precious kids...which is why I lovingly refer to this trip as "Florida Daycare." :)

"Mmmmmm...sand is yummy!!"

A whole lot of reading going on. These kids LOVE a good book. Anytime someone started a story, they all piled in to listen:

"Go fish, Annie"

Now there's a good spot for Marshall's undies:

Where's Annie and Olivia????
There they are!!

And, of course, Uncle Johnny wants in on the fun...
Sweet Annie giving some good hugs:
